Guys!! Free HIV testing at all Walgreens on June 27th. Get tested!!! Know your status!!!!

If you don’t reblog this I’m going to assume that you are afraid to get tested so I’m just going to let you know that even if you’re positive, now you can get proper treatment! You aren’t alone either!! Get tested so you & your partners can be safe!! Please!!

This is only at select locations, FYI— there’s more information at the Walgreens website & at WE>AIDS, and you can find your closest participating Walgreens on both pages. There will also be counselors available on-site.

If there isn’t a Walgreens near you or you can’t make this date (or you aren’t in the US), there may still be other free HIV/AIDS testing services available elsewhere; if you are at risk of exposure or infection, it’s still worth looking into, even if this offer isn’t the one for you!

WTF Disney: Disneyland’s ‘Goof Ball’ walk-around character, 1993.

(As if the whole thing weren’t creepy enough, why is his hat a snake?!)

I wanted to learn more about this image… but there is nothing.

A search for “Goofy Golf Ball” “Goof Ball” and “Goofy Golf Ball Snake” and all variations thereof lead to links about halloween costumes and actual golf balls featuring Goofy.

So I searched the Disney wiki… and…

There is no 1993 variant of the character, much less one fused with a golfball.

And a reverse google search?

Four freakin results… one from twitter, the rest originating in some form to this very post! The biggest one? The one I’m reblogging right now!

Get your birth certificates. There may be a fee or long wait times. Make sure you get a certified copy.

Make sure you have ID. Dig into your state’s laws and the whole Real ID thing, because (and sorry I can’t research this now, but pneumonia) I believe there are certain states whose driver’s licenses don’t qualify for Real ID.

Make sure you’re registered to vote. Google it. Follow the instructions for your state.

Know where your local polling place is or find out if you can vote by mail.

Vote in ALL your upcoming elections. Yes, that means the little ones for city council or dog catcher or whatever. Vote those racist, homophobic, bigots out at every level.

They’re like weeds. You can pull up every visible bit, but if you leave one tiny segment of root, they’ll just come back.

To quote Mira Grant, rise up while you can. Because the Republicans are way the hell worse than zombies.
